The food we eat every day has a direct impact on our well-being and mood. Unfortunately, we often do not think about what we eat. Preserving our time, we choose convenience foods, fast food, or go to the nearest restaurant with friends. This means that by focusing on superficial things, we leave food in the background, although in fact it is the main driving force. True, more and more people are starting to talk about returning to old traditions, when cooking was associated with certain rituals and often turned into a therapeutic tool that helped calm down and bring family closer.

Trends

In recent years, a significant part of the population has decided to devote more time to cooking. More and more people claim that food preparation is not a chore, on the contrary – it is an opportunity to engage in meaningful activities and enjoy various delicacies. In addition, both in print and online, recipes from different countries and cultures are presented, so we can cook not only traditional dishes, but also enjoy exotic delicacies. In general, food prepared with love and enthusiasm goes beyond the boundaries of necessity and becomes work that gives meaning to everyday moments.

Studies have shown that in Europe more than 75 percent. people are interested in the subtleties of food preparation, and in addition, a third of them consider themselves culinary enthusiasts, i.e. they are engaged in food preparation at least four times a week and consider this work to be a certain creative niche, which is associated with pleasure and inspiration. In addition, Europeans are not only spending more time in the kitchen and buying books with various recipes, but also spending more money on high-quality and organic food products. It is also worth noting that a significant number of people value not so much the cooking itself as the opportunity to create something exceptional, so they do not shy away from some pre-prepared ingredients, such as purchased dough.

To make the production process less tiring

Most modern families simply don’t have time to stand at the stove and think about unique dishes. This work turns into a routine, and everyday thoughts about what to eat today drive you to despair. In order to avoid a bad mood and add more magic to the cooking process, you must follow some time-tested rules.

First, plan ahead

Spend a few hours searching for recipes. Think about what you will eat this week and make a shopping list. This way, you will not only not have to think about cooking next week, but you will also be able to save money – you will not buy unnecessary food products, and you will not waste extra time every day walking around the shops and thinking about what to buy. By the way, you can make different dishes from one product. This is especially relevant for people who want to save money. For example, how many different dishes can you make from minced chicken or pork? If you can’t immediately think of what dishes you want to cook, simply heat-treat the selected product, for example, cook a chicken, divide it into several parts, put it in special boxes and freeze it. Later, you can use the meat wherever you want, for example, for soup, salad, sandwiches, etc. Also, don’t forget that you can make a delicious casserole or salad from leftovers, such as leftover lettuce, a few potatoes, a slice of sausage, or an uneaten pizza.

If you don’t like to experiment, don’t try to do something you don’t want to do – it’s better to remember the favorite dishes of your family members. You can write them all down in a notebook or store them on your personal computer, the main thing is that all the recipes are easily accessible. Assess the tastes of all family members – eat meatballs on Monday, fish on Tuesday, pizza on Wednesday. Planning a menu that includes your favorite dishes is much easier than trying to cook new and unknown dishes. In addition, you will be sure that the food you prepare will really please your family.

Don't forget the food and table decorations

A nicely decorated table will always whet your appetite, and a steak garnished with a few basil leaves will look much tastier. Many people judge a dish by its appearance. Also, to make it more fun, you can come up with a theme for your dinner or lunch, for example, decorate the entire table in red - with red napkins, candles, red vegetables and fruits.
